In November 2018, ana left the team after deciding to take a break from the professional scene, with Per Anders “Pajkatt” Olsson Lille and Igor “iLTW” Filatov substituting for him until he returned in March 2019 https://iplt20lives.com/. In April 2019, the team played against and lost to the OpenAI Five, a group of artificial intelligence bots that learned to play the game entirely through machine learning, in a live exhibition series in San Francisco. Later that month, Titouan “Sockshka” Merloz replaced Cristian “ppasarel” Banaseanu as team coach.

OG was created as the new team of former (monkey) Business players. The team’s breakthrough came at the Frankfurt Major in late November, 2015. They fought through the lower bracket, defeating TI5 champions Evil Geniuses and runner-ups CDEC Gaming. By winning the 2017 Kiev Major, OG became the first team in Dota 2 history to win four Dota Major Championships. In August 2018, OG became the first team to win The International from the open qualifiers. The grand finals of the event were the subject of a 2018 episode of “True Sight”, making OG the only team to be featured in the series more than once. In August 2019, OG became the first team to win more than one TI by winning TI9, also becoming the first back-to-back TI winners in the history of the game.

On November 14, 2023, OG announced the benching of FASHR, followed by the transfer of nexa to in a return G2 on November 21. OG announced the signing of MOUZ academy player Bram “Nexius” Campana on December 21, 2023, and completed their roster on January 4, 2024, following the signing of Israeli player Nikita “HeavyGod” Martynenko.

The team formed a Valorant division in 2021. In May 2022, OG formed a partnership with the British esports organization, LDN UTD, to compete during the 2022 EMEA Valorant Champions Tour Stage 2. In September 2022, the roster disbanded after OG LDN UTD failed to make the EMEA Valorant partnered team league.

Dota 2 heroes

Like the other two S+ heroes, Outworld Destroyer can become “online” relatively early. Even with just a few items, he can easily kill squishy heroes with a couple of attacks. You have to be very careful when the enemy heroes get Black King Bar because this item pretty much removes OD’s damage when it is active.

The best hero for competitive play changes often. Game updates and player strategies affect which heroes are strong. Top players pick different heroes based on their team’s plan and the opposing team.

Best Synergy: OD usually shines when you have a pocket support next to him. Heroes like Omniknight or Oracle can be outstanding because they can keep him alive longer, allowing him to deal more damage. Besides that, OD also works with anything that has a stun because it allows him to do damage.

Support heroes are also seeing their share of improvements. Crystal Maiden’s Aghanim’s Scepter now triggers Frostbite more quickly. Lich’s Evil Eye Facet gets a damage boost to Sinister Gaze, and Winter Wyvern has a stronger early laning presence thanks to increased base damage and improved level 1 spell damage. Nyx Assassin’s Spiked Carapace now reflects more damage, increased from 125% to 140%.

The most impressive results are shown by Brewmaster with a win rate of 52.77% and Venomancer with a score of 53.29% . Also breaking into the meta are Terrorblade and Omniknight, whose match win rate jumped by 4%. Undying also breaks into the leaderboard with an impressive 54.69% matchmaking win rate in Dota 2.

Several meta offlaners were hit with hard nerfs. Dark Seer in particular is heavily affected, with a slow reduction on his Aghanim’s Shard Surge (from 50% to 35%) and a decrease to Wall of Replica’s slow (from 50/60/70% to 40%).

Dota 2 developer Valve Software has rolled out the relatively small patch 7.39c. Although it’s just a letter patch, it packs a punch, delivering significant nerfs to many meta heroes and corresponding buffs to less popular picks. Released just hours before the final day of PGL Wallachia Season 5’s Group Stage, we can expect to see the changes make an immediate impact on the pro scene.
